When you sign up for email alerts on PermitBot (permit.lol), we collect only your email address. We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personal data. We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.

Send you magic link sign-in emails when you request them
Send you permit alert notifications that match your subscription preferences

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We will never send you marketing or promotional emails unrelated to your subscriptions.

Email Service

We use SendGrid (by Twilio) to deliver emails. SendGrid processes your email address solely for delivery purposes. Their privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Your Rights

You can at any time:

Unsubscribe from all emails using the link in every email we send
Manage subscriptions by signing in at permit.lol/subscriptions
Delete your account and all associated data by emailing us

Data Retention

Your email address and subscription preferences are stored for as long as you have an active account. If you unsubscribe from all alerts, your account remains but no emails are sent. You may request full deletion at any time.

Data We Scrape

PermitBot collects publicly available data from government websites, patent offices, and other public sources. This data includes building permits, trademarks, patents, and property records. No private or personal information is scraped or stored beyond what is publicly available.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies. You may decline cookies, but some features (such as signing in and managing subscriptions) require session cookies to function.
